STUDIO 401 was originally formed in 2012 by Model and Photographer Lanisha Cole to establish a creative upscale studio where she and her associates could be free to photograph their personal projects in the most dynamic fashion. The wide open space and unique enviroment provides clients an ideal atmosphere to enjoy their experience, regardless of which side of the lens they’re on. After opening her inaugural studio at the famed Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, she realized the importance of finding the perfect location to inspire the maximum creative expression- that location is STUDIO 401 LOS ANGELES. The result is a most elegant shooting space that is in constant evolution, while being constant quality. Originally designed as a natural light studio, STUDIO 401 has now embraced the use of artificial light to provide and even broader scope of creativity.
The STUDIO 401 vision endeavors to establish an ongoing business relationship with other like-minded uniquely creative individuals.
Located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles on Gallery Row in the thriving Arts District, STUDIO 401 is surrounded by historic architecture and within a mile of the more modern Staples Center and just 1 block from Artwalk. You’ll enjoy an abundance of natural light in over 1,000 sq ft of a creative loft with an exceptional view of Downtown LA.
